About the theme: The Incarnation celebrates Jesus the Son of God's, coming into our world circa two thousand years ago, according to the prior plan of God for all eternity, but it also celebrates the ongoing incarnation of God in the created universe since the Big Bang circa 14 billion years ago, as well as the daily incarnations embodied in us, members of the Body of Christ.
About the Presenter: Sr. Maura O’Donovan, CHF is a member of the USA region of the Sisters of the Holy Faith, an Irish-founded International Community whose ministry is educational, pastoral an social. She graduated from Our Lady of Mercy Training College, Carysfort, Blackrock, Co. Dublin, Ireland, received a Masters in Pastoral Ministry from Boston College, a Masters in Black Theology from Xavier University of Louisiana, and a Certificate in Biblical Spirituality from Catholic Theological Union of Chicago, during which she took studies on location in the Lands of the Bible. She has elementary and secondary teaching and principalship experience in both Ireland and Trinidad, West Indies, pastor, adult faith formation and community outreach in San Francisco, Epiphany, and St. Gabriel churches in New Orleans, as well as leadership in her religious community. She is currently retired and engages in volunteer ministry.
