About the Theme: God is always present in our everyday life. This retreat will explore how we can honor the mystic within by becoming aware of the love that God has kindled in our hearts. When we live from this mystical center of prayer, we will be catalysts from compassion and care, reconciliation, and hope for one another and for our world.
About the Presenter: Fr. Joseph Nassal is a Missionary of the Precious Blood who has been engaged in retreat, renewal, and reconciliation since 1988. He is the author of eight books including The Conspiracy of Compassion, Restops for the Sou, and Premeditated Mercy. Ordained in 1982, Fr. Joe has Served in parish, justice and peace, formation, and vocation ministry for his religious community, including 24 years in leadership. He was provincial director of the Kansas City Province from 2011 - 2019. Fr. Joe was part of the ministry team that started Precious Blood Center for Reconciliation on the south side of Chicago in 2002. He now lives in Berkeley, CA., where he is establishing a Mission House of Prayer for those on the margins.
Registration Information: The retreat check-in is between 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday and concludes after lunch on Saturday. Registration includes meals and accommodations.
