During Black History Month, what we learn from scripture and the lives of the Black Saints is relevant for us today as we all journey in faith as disciples of Jesus. God is stretching out in us to clean out our house and kick the devil out. God is stretching out in me and you to renew our life and our world.
About the Presenter:
Bishop Fernand Cheri has served as the auxiliary Bishop of New Orleans since 2015. He has been ordained for 42 years and served as a pastor, campus minister, youth director, teacher, school administrator, choir director, coach and diocesan director of Black Catholic Ministry all over the Midwest. He is an archivist of Black religious music, a revivalist and student of scripture for "God is my strength."

This day retreat includes light refreshments and lunch as well as Mass and time for personal reflection and prayer. Registration opens at 8:30 a.m.
