Description: This Day of Prayer will explore the beautiful rituals and prayers of All Souls Day. In reflecting upon how God is inviting us to journey home to Heaven through purgative love on earth, we pray for those whose purgatory continues after death.
Presenter: Fr. Clark, who is from Ohio, came to New Orleans to assist after Hurricane Katrina when he heard God's call to be a priest for the Archdiocese of New Orleans. He was ordained at St. Louis Cathedral on June 4, 2016 and served his first four years as Parochial Vicar at Divine Mercy Parish in Kenner. In July of 2020, he began his service as pastor of Our Lady of Holy Rosary Church in Hahnville.
His life has been marked with powerful experiences of pilgrimage, most notably walking the Camino de Santiago, the Way of St. James, with his father and younger brother after his first year of seminary. He is now blessed to be walking with his parish family, following the Lord, and learning to trust His Providence more freely. Fr. Clark is currently leading his parishioners through an intense recovery process post-Hurricane Ida.
