There are three traditional pillars of Lent (prayer, fasting, and almsgiving). This retreat will focus on the role of prayer in the life of the Christian.
This is a weekly program during Lent for those grieving. Each week for 5 weeks we will journey through brokenness to the place of belovedness. You will learn about complicated feelings and emotions. This is a wonderful program for those grieving the loss of a loved one to participate in during Lent in preparation for Easter. These sessions will be held at 6:30PM. Books will be available the first night.

Sr. Judy Gomila and Pattie Harris will be our presenters for Leaning into the Scriptures. We will stretch our souls and gain greater range of motion to enhance our Attitude of Gratitude and embrace an on-going sense of praise and thanksgiving to the Great Spirit, Creator God. Just as physical rehab helps us gain strength and mobility, Sacred Scripture and time for prayer and reflection can open us to gratitude in spite of a fractured life, a hardened heart, a bruised relationship.
We are all called to live a life of Piety, Study and Action. During this Day of Prayer we will spend time in prayer, reflect upon the importance of study (spiritual reading), and how we can act to bring others to Christ. The Day of Prayer will be from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, including Mass and lunch.
