Greetings from Cenacle on the Lake!

There are a lot of very exciting things happening at the retreat center. We have rebranded the retreat center as "The Cenacle on the Lake." This new name is a nod to the our rich past as well as a look to our bright future. We have also begun offering "Women of Manresa" retreats at The Cenacle on the Lake. These new retreats are a return to the original mission of the Cenacle: to provide Ignatian retreats for Catholic women. These retreats have been extremely well received.

In order to maintain a beautiful and serene environment for retreats, we have also been making some improvements at the Cenacle on the Lake, and we have many more plans for the future. We need your help to make them possible. There are many deferred maintenance issues and improvement needs that we must address including the eroding soil around the building, painting the chapel, a new fence along the lake, landscaping, repairing the entrance columns and asphalt driveway, and converting the shared bathrooms to private bathrooms.

The cost of running the retreat center is not covered by the retreat registration fees. In order to improve the Cenacle, we need additional revenue. We are asking you to prayerfully consider making a donation to our Annual Appeal. All money raised during this appeal will be used for capital improvements at the Cenacle. If everyone gives something for the good of this holy place, we can ensure the mission of the Cenacle is sustained for generations of women to come.
